They merely allowed EA to work on PS3 on their behalf, because they didn't want to divert valuable resources on architecture they weren't really accustomed to, as well as divert such resources since more notable products were already in the pipeline (HL3, etc)

Zhuk grasping at straws. That straw is the PSP version of GT. Which still looks as good as Flopza III, a 360 game.

GT has been pushed back to realize something much better. Taking car damage que from Flopza is not what happend, it's the fans that saw flopza and wanted that in GT, PD listened. You also forgot to mention how much Flopza Motosport III, fails to live up to Turn10's statements, GT's sales, and car enthusiasts expectations for a game that mimics reality in both the visual department and gameplay, respectively.
